Based in Pickerington Ohio, a suburb of Columbus, Mike is an active member of the Professional Photographers of America, Board Member of the Professional Photographers of Ohio, and two-time Past-President and current Board Member of the Professional Photographers of Central Ohio.
Program Description: Boosting Your Photo Revenue Through Yearbook and Event Book Publishing
With the changing value schools and corporate clients place on individual print images, savvy photographers are challenged to find new revenue streams that don't rely on the sale of 5x7 and 8x10 print packages for the images they have already created for those clients. Publishing yearbooks and event memory books represent a profitable path to repurposing those images to solve your client's challenges of creating quality, affordable printed books that capture the school year or special events that they can sell. Once designed, the final books can be sold as printed or digital products that help cement you the real "problem solver" for your clients. In most cases, you already have all the images and are leaving money "on the table" by not offering to design and publish their books as well.
Join Mike Price as he describes this profitable revenue generation product offered to a variety of school and corporate clients. During this session, Mike will help you:
• Learn the terminology for working with printers. Paper weights, covers, binding and more.
• Apply reusable skills across corporate clients, churches, pre-schools -- not just K-12 schools.
• Target your clients; the right schools, the right companies, the right events
• Publish school yearbooks even if you are not the school portrait day photographer
• Create a year-long program for your schools that puts you in the publishers driver's seat
• Partner with major print firms for online layout and design tools
• Offer print and digital book products
• Organizing your images to simplify book creation
• and more!
