COVID 19 Update for the State of Ohio
PPO Getting Back to Business!
The board of the Professional Photographers of Ohio, met on April 30th to discuss getting back to business. As hard as it was for us, we have been patient in adhering to the “non-essential” tag we have been given and halted our business to do our part for the safety of ourselves and our Ohio Communities. The PPO Board has agreed that according to what the state has outlined below that we fall under the “consumer, retail and services” sector of Ohio’s business.
Beginning on May 12, 2020, consumer, retail and services, may reopen if these businesses can meet mandatory safety requirements for customers and employees. The full Responsible RestartOhio plan for consumer, retail, and services can be found at:
www.coronavirus.ohio.gov/ResponsibleRestartOhio.
The general safe business practices that all businesses must follow as they reopen are:
Requiring face coverings for all employees, and recommending them for clients and customers at all times
Conducting daily health assessments or self-evaluations of employees to determine if they should work
Maintaining good hygiene at all times such as hand washing and social distancing
Cleaning and sanitizing workplaces throughout the day and at the close of business or between shifts
Limiting capacity to meet social distancing guidelines
We are recommending that you develop your own process and timeline you are comfortable with to comply and get back to business again! Find up to date information on the PPO FaceBook page and please share how you are re-entering business along with any help needed.
