Speaker Bio
Danica Barreau is a PPA Master Artist and CPP with a studio in Grove City, OH. Specializing in pet photography and digital art, she is the 2019 Artist and 2019 Photographer of the Year for the state of Ohio as well as the ASP State Elite Award winner, 2019 PPA NorthEeast District Award first-place winner in the Animal and Creative Open categories, and a 2019 IPC Platinum and Silver medalist.
Join us as we walk through the world of PPA print competition! This class is for those who would like to enter as well as those who've entered a few times and have questions.
We will cover:
Why you should (or shouldn't) compete Rules for PPA's District and IPC competitions How to submit images for both affiliate and PPA competitions The 12 Elements of Judging Competition terminology (loans, seals, merits, challenge, etc) Who are the jurors and why are they qualified
We will look at some sample images and discuss what the jurors are looking for and how to develop a stronger image for print competition.
